Frequently Asked Questions

Session Fees?

Individual Therapy: $175 per 50-minute session

Couples Therapy: $200 per 50-minute session

Family Therapy: $200 per 50-minute session

I also offer a sliding scale for a limited number of clients to help make therapy more accessible based on individual financial circumstances.

I understand that the cost of therapy can be a concern. While it is an investment, therapy provides meaningful and lasting benefits that can greatly enhance your quality of life. Through our work together, you may find yourself developing a stronger sense of self, improving your relationships, gaining new perspectives, and enhancing your ability to solve problems and cope with challenges.

Choosing to invest in your emotional well-being is one of the most valuable decisions you can make — one that supports growth, healing, and long-term resilience.

Do you accept Insurance?

I do not currently accept insurance or managed care reimbursement for mental health services. However, I can provide you with a superbill — an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Reimbursement rates vary depending on your insurance provider and plan, but clients typically receive 30–60% back. I recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits, deductible, and reimbursement process.

If you have any questions about this process or need help understanding how to use your superbill, I’m happy to guide you through it.

Can You Prescribe Medication?

I do not prescribe medication, as I am not a medical doctor. However, if we determine that medication may be a helpful part of your treatment plan, I can provide referrals to trusted psychiatrists or other medical professionals who specialize in medication management.

Together, we can coordinate care to ensure you receive comprehensive support that aligns with your therapeutic goals and overall well-being.
